Inside the Designers' Mind NY Trip.
Fitting, Fabric and Fun!!
This is a trip I have been planning for years.
We will start Wednesday...check into the Newark Airport Marriott Hotel any time on Wednesday after 4 pm.
Day #1- Thursday, October 19th, 2023. Meet downstairs in a meeting room, 9-11 am, for a free fitting from Peggy Sagers, one muslin of choice, choose jacket, pant, blouse, t-shirt, your choice. Afterwards, head into the city to tour inside a current factory of a designer and meet the design team.
Then a stop to some great fabric and a great, relaxing dinner together..all included in the price.
Day #2- Friday, October 20th, 2023. Meet downstairs in a meeting room, 9-11 am, for a free fitting from
Peggy Sagers, one muslin of choice, choose jacket, pant, blouse,
t-shirt, your choice. Afterwards, head into the city to tour inside a current factory of a second designer and meet the design team.
Then a stop for the second fabric place and some great fabric shopping and then back to the hotel by 5 to relax and Friday night at the hotel is included.
The Designers have requested the trip be limited to 20 ladies so they have time to talk individually with each participant. There are two fitting sessions and each will accommodate 10 ladies, but all are welcome to ask questions and learn about fitting the garments we are fitting.
Wed, Thursday and Friday nights are included at the hotel. Thursday dinner is included with lunches both days on the Mini-bus.
Optional: Fabrics purchased will be shipped by each fabric stop to your home, so no carrying of fabrics will be necessary.
This trip is intended to see creativity, production, fitting and great fabrics, with great friends all wrapped up in one trip.
Muslins to be fitted will have to be pre-made and instructions can be found at this link:
